CRITIGEN is pleased to announce and welcome Terrence D. Martin as a new Business Development Director in the Federal Sector.

Many of CRITIGEN’s Defense customers already know Terry, who has been providing GIS software, training, services and support to the US Air Force Installations and Environment community for almost 20 years. Terry has been involved in all aspects of installation management GIS including planning, utilities, natural resources, security forces, fire, air space management, and forward operating base site suitability. Terry was an early adopter of GIS to address the special problems of Energy Management in the Air Force, defining the geographic nature of the problem and how to apply GIS tools to energy use reduction, site suitability for alternative energy sites, smart grid management and security, and resilient adaptation. Terry also applied GIS to the two most expensive components of forward deployment, showing how GIS can reduce water consumption and energy consumption for forward operating bases.

Terry is eager to combine his broad knowledge with CRITIGEN’s domain expertise to bring innovative solutions to Defense, Energy, and Water Resources user communities. CRITIGEN’s expertise with OSIsoft and SAP, combined with its expertise in Defense related deployment of GIS technology, promises to help transform our Defense installations and other Federal agency missions to meet the challenges of the 21st century. Terry Joined Critigen on May 8, 2017.
