Rand Knight Senior Vice President
GM Spatial Information Management

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, Rand Knight is the senior vice president (SVP) and general manager responsible for worldwide business relationships, operations and delivery of the Spatial Information Management line of business.  In this role, Dr. Knight is also responsible for the leadership of more than 300 employees within Geospatial consulting, GIS/CAD/BIM solutions, Data Management, Survey & Mapping and all supporting practices of the Global Delivery Center of Excellence.

Dr. Knight has more than 20 years of experience in technology integration and professional services implementation, and has developed spatially-enabled solutions for Fortune 500, Global 2000 companies, and State and Federal government agencies. Earlier in his career, he held various sales and management positions at QL2, Insightful Corporation and Apple Computer.  Dr. Knight received the Forty Under Forty Award for Leadership & Contributions to Georgia in 2009 and was a Candidate for United States Senate in Georgia in 2008, and currently serves on the Board of Radiance Solar.

Dr. Knight has a degree in Environmental Studies from Middlebury College; a M.S. and Ph.D. in Ecosystems Analysis from the University of Washington, College of the Environment; and was a Postdoctoral Fellow for the National Science Foundation at the American Institute of Biological Sciences.
