Denver (PRWEB) August 18, 2011

Critigen, one of the leading systems integrators specializing in geospatial solutions and cloud services, today announced it has signed a contract with the engineering services department of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas to provide upgrades and implementation services for Oracle's Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) 8.1.

The project will upgrade the City of Corpus Christi to the latest version of Primavera P6 EPPM, which will work with Oracle's PeopleSoft ERP system. The new version of Primavera P6 EPPM, release 8.1, enables the engineering department to utilize the latest scheduling functionalities along with reports and metrics based on industry best practices, enabling it to manage any project regardless of size or complexity. The integration with Oracle's PeopleSoft Financials helps enable the transfer of cost codes from one system to another reducing data redundancies while providing real-time access to necessary information.

"Once implemented, the project will provide the City of Corpus Christi with an EPPM system enabling it to efficiently manage projects on-cost and on-schedule, ultimately leading to reduction of project overruns and significant savings," said Farhan Shaikh, Critigen Vice President.

Critigen is a Gold level member in Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN).
