The GSTC General GIS Services Contract

This 5-year $25M contract serves the as the primary vehicle for the Forest Service to take advantage of world-class geospatial services, solutions, and consulting. Under this contract, any Forest Service unit can request task orders for a full range of geospatial services. Task orders can range from simple desktop analysis or data conversion to cloud hosted, enterprise systems architecture. Few firms are capable of providing this diverse range of geospatial services and deep technical excellence.

The contract is task order based and available to the entire Forest Service. Rates, terms and conditions of the contract have already been negotiated, reducing contracting time. Forest Service units will act as Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) on initiating and administering task orders. The primary point of contact within the Forest Service is Stu Gregory at the Geospatial Services and Technology Center (GSTC).

  • General GIS Services Contract: IDIQ, 1 base year + 4 option years
  • Task order based
  • Prices pre-negotiated and determined to be fair and reasonable
  • Any Forest Service unit can rely on their local Contracting Officer
  • Direct communication with our delivery staff 

The Process:

  • Write a statement of work (see examples)
  • Share with Critigen and PS
  • Kickoff meeting scheduled — questions answered
  • Proposal due within 5 business days
  • Rates and terms are already negotiated to be fair and reasonable
  • Work can start upon receipt of notice to proceed
