Photo of Jeremy ConnerGreenwood Village, Colorado; January 12, 2021 – Critigen is proud to announce that our colleague Jeremy Conner has been elected Vice President of the GIS Association of Alabama.

The GIS Association of Alabama (GISAA) is a recognized chapter of URISA, and its objective is to promote growth of the geospatial industry by providing networking opportunities, workshops, and resources to its members. URISA, the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association, is a nonprofit association which provides its members with leadership and professional training, a network of geospatial professionals, and many other resources.

Jeremy joined Critigen in June 2019 and has made a significant contribution to our team. Jeremy has worked alongside our colleagues, and with personnel from multiple clients, to ensure successful outcomes. He can now take the same determination and work ethic he brings to Critigen and contribute more broadly to the GIS community. The election will constitute a three-year appointment to the Board of Directors, serving one year each as Vice President, President, and Past President.

“I’m humbled to serve in this role. This is an exciting opportunity to promote growth in the local geospatial community, and to continue my professional development in a capacity outside of daily work.”
— Jeremy Conner, GIS Analyst
